A really nice old lady came in today and was like "My husband had a big box of cameras in the basement, he died a few months ago, and I hate to think that all of his stuff will go to waste.. Would you guys like this stuff?"

So she dropped off 4 35mm cams and 2 8mm video cameras, 3 light meters, 4 flashes (one for each camera), a bunch of old school bags, filters/etc etc..

My coworkers don't really care for film stuff, they're noobs, so I basically got to pick what I wanted. So I got all this stuff for free, it's pretty neat too :wiggle:

Olympus PEN-D, with Zuiko 37mm f/1.7 lens. This thing takes half frames, so you fit twice the amount of a roll's advertised exposures. Great for snapshots and stuff.. just not for huge res prints.

Rollei 35. This is the smallest mechanical 35mm camera EVER made. Has a Zeiss 40mm f/3.5, which is pretty badass. The lens actually retracts into the body for sturage, so it's basically pocket sized

Canon Autozoom 814 Electronic with a 7.5-60mm f/1.4 macro lens  Highly sought after in good condition. 12fps with a 40fps slow motion setting.

It's all in so so close to absolutely 10/10 condition, all works great. I shot a roll of film through each, the only one which will be hard to develop is the 8mm.. getting hard to find that, but I have 2 friends with 8mm cams who've done all the research and have the contacts :)

Very nice! When I was working at a camera shop, my greedy ass Scrooge of a boss would have just taken all that shit and made us sell it for him to profit.

All of that stuff looks like it's in amazing condition. :bigthumb:

That's kick ass that she'd do that!

I'm never lucky enough to be on the receiving end of such a cool deal.
