You guys do (non-sniper) rifle quals up to 500 yards right? what rifle do you use for that? isnt the 16 only effective up to 2-300?

Yes, 200 yards, 300 yards, and 500 yards. If I remember correctly, the rifle is effective up to around 700 yards.

500 yds with iron sights. I had head shots with all my rounds.

only marines qualify with their m16a2's at the 500 yard line. my m16 is effective and my aim is true.

    m16 > ak47

this isn't cs, this is real life.

    wheeeeeee i'm so boot

I'd rather have an AK. More reliable.

which is better ... accuracy or reliability ?? :hsugh:

I'd rather be able to accurately shoot you from 200 - 500 yds out and risk my gun not working .... :noes:

Ak is pretty accurate if used properly. I've shot one a couple of time, they are good guns.

Thats because they don't know how to shoot. Not because of the weapon.

i personally think the 500 yd line is the easiest, not hard to hit 10/10. then again i suck on the 200 yd line because of the sitting position. could never get into a comfortable position, the best one i've found ends up with me getting nailed in the face by the rear sight every time i fire.

:werd: I went to the range the other day, shot 35 out of 40. :wtc: Its impossible to get into a confortable firing position in those foxholes, which only come up to around my waist.

I did a lot better in Basic when we had to shoot at the new standard without any gay foxhole shit.

i haven't shot with a foxhole SINCE basic
maybe your alot newer than i think, and you've already dont it, but I heard some shit about the army implementing a kneeling shooting position
Makes sense and all, but i cant get comfy in a kneel, i hope i dont lose my 36 out of 40, everytime all the time score

I shot 39 out of 40 in basic.

We did kneeling, prone supported and prone unsupported. I'm awesome at firing in the kneeling position.

I've been in a little more than a year.
