All CONUS people are in bed when you're just getting off work.

It has been slow lately, mainly because Accord isn't here telling us how great Marines are in a thread about something like college tuition.

When I was stationed at RAF Bentwaters, we always heard stories about the steak and lobster that was frequently served at RAF Lakenheath/Mildenhall (where the brass lived). I dunno if it was true, but I do know that we sure as hell never saw any of it.

I've said it before: I have never had an Army chow hall meal that was worse than the average Air Force chow hall meal I had when I was active duty. And most of them have been much better. :yum:

When I was deployed, we had steak every other week, if not every week. The best meal I had there was the birthday meal. Steak, lobster, shrimp, chicken, one big plate of food. Some Colonel kept hooking us up with glass after glass of wine, wasn't even a beer night.
