so, i have been in vilseck germany for the last 2 weeks for a lame ass class...one of the guys in the class was an air force major. he was a bit of a dorky guy, but cool. he told us a few stories, one of which made me rofl so i will share...

we said HOOAH in the class a few times, because us army folks are morons and use it instead of normal words often. he giggled to himself one time after we said hooah and we all stared at him, so he told us why he laughed. apparently, airman all over use hooah, i guess it spread like an infection. some AF general got all pissed, because airman were using an army motto. he got so fired up, that he put out an official memo, stating that airman were no longer allowed to say hooah, but instead would use AIR POWER!

basically, no one cared for the memo, people still say hooah. so, for the rest of the class, we harassed that major by saying air power as often as possible

In the AF, anyone who says Hooah is usually considered a tool. The only time I hear Hooah used is to make fun of the Army.

    air force..ugh

We had to say air power at field training....

after every time we fell out of formation, after every time we finished an exercise in "morning PT". we must have said it 50-60 times a day

Hooah is retarded...but air power is much worse.
