i'm thinking of selling off my comics. they're all from early 80's.

the best i have, i think, is a few limited issue series #1-4 silver surfer, beauty and the beast, stuff like that.

a bunch of old power pack, thor, spiderman, xmen, starriors issues 1-4, i'd have to check for sure to see everything i have.

they're almost all in bags, most are double bagged (back to back)

If this was 1996 they'd be worth loads. But not so much anymore.

If you want to spend the money you can get them CGC graded - they grade it, protect it, and give it back to you with a certificate - and that kinda boosts the value a few dollars. http://www.comicspriceguide.com/ is a good place to start looking into values though, don't expect much more than $3 unless you have something really rare.

Comicbase is a good program to conservatively price your books, but you'll have to actually buy the program as I've never seen it on any torrents sites or newsgroups. The good news is it comes with a years worth of updates with it, they update weekly. Might be able to find it on ebay cheaper than from the developer. :dunno:
