it seems like an amazing engine for an amazing price

all forged internals, with a dart block, and 227cnc heads, etc

when i made a mock up of my engine, it was around $6000 to give ne around 650hp with my own block, i was considering getting a dart block, which would raise the price to around $8,000, and it didnt have the same heads

comments on this, it almost seems too good to be true

yep, you're a sissy. a real man would have purchased that engine without a second thought...

How is questioning your manhood in an act of peer pressure trolling??

I'd kind of like to know the grind specs of the cam myself.... that might be a helpful determining factor. I know they say it is a bracket racing setup, but is it still streetable in any capacity, or what?

no, i can just tell you know nothing about engines, and shouldnt be posting in this thread

not sure, i think you can tell them the specs of the cam you want, or will give you a bunch of different herbert cam selections that you can pick from

im not too sure about the intake, but the one they have listed there actually seems like it is a street intake :dunno:

i know a few people with 406 sbcs and the same heads that drive their cars on the street, although im not really sure how friendly it is, i think it would do fine with a high stall converter, or a manual, whatever i choose to use

considering this is the american muscle forum, and not the off topic section, there is a lot less trolls here, except for maybe you, and there is a lot of knowledgeable people here that actually post useful information rather than troll.

the sad thing is, is that you think you are awesome by trolling me, but what you dont understand is that you will never get any respect here because you are a no av faggot

What have you done to the suspension so far? Just STB/SFCs (bare essentials)?

i cant imagine them making any type of STB for the camaro, but i def. will get some sub frame connectors

i was thinking of tubbing the car, and making the rear end a tad bit shorter then puttin some bigass tires in there, maybe a 4 link, but im not sure, i dont really have any experience dialing in suspension like that, my suspension experience basically stops at installing shocks/struts :hs:

rear shock tower braces do wonders to stiffen up a vehicle. front STBs are a bling mod for the most part. there is no discernible difference in driving a vehicle with or without a front stb.

They have braces for second gen camaros that go from the firewall to the rear bolt on the upper control arms .... the guys at NastyZ28 say they make a big difference.

Can I ask why your willing to spend $10,000 on an engine? I mean thats a lot of money for just an engine. You could build an engine yourself even with having shops do little jobs here and there for you for far less than that. I'm just going off my 3.8L S/C engine in my GTP and I could put down 750 HP for less than $10,000. If you have the money then buy all means do it but I think thats so over priced.

That's all well and good, but let me ask you this: just how reliably could you put 750 HP down with your L67 before the internals blew themselves to bits?

Part of the cost of an engine like that has to do with making sure the parts can handle the stresses of making that much power consistently without putting a rod through the block or something of that nature.

It all comes down to what you're going to be doing with the car just how far you need to go with beefing up parts.

that sounds like it creates some triangulation, which has always been known to increase strength and rigidity and works in a way entirely unlike a strut tower brace.
