i'm tired of this teriyaki shit i've been eating for like ~3 months practically everyday. is there a recipe out there that you guys can eat everyday and it doesn't get nasty eventually? hopefully nothing with a grill required, everything else is fine.

I boil the shit out of mine till it shreds itself apart, then I drain it and put some BBQ sauce on it and then put in between two buns. It's like pulled pork only with chicken.

Don't all recipes get old after a month straight.

chicken is quite possibly the most versatile meat out there. it can be cooked in any way, shape, or form. check out kraft.com/kf

they've got lots of recipes and you can sort it by nutritional value

you need a few different ones to rotate between. a cooked plain then a wide variety of sauces is easiest. just add whatever is tasty to you.

:werd: I add italian dressing to my rice sometimes if I prepare it plain.

I can't wait until its consistently warm enough to grill because that adds an extra flavor and always seems to keep it juicier.

olive oil, dried basil, thyme, oregano and salt and pepper.

coat evenly, use foreman grill or pan sear on both sides, cover with foil and finish in the oven.

    can't go wrong with BBQ.

    yummmmm

here's one of my favorites (you can do this with a whole breast, or cut into strips (for ultra healthy, and MUCH lower fat chicken strips)

    1/4 cup whole grain flower
    1/2 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup whole wheat breadcrums (optional)
    1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1 egg (scrambled, uncooked. You can use whites too if you want to reduce the fat)

    1. mix oatmeal and breadcrumbs together (if you're using crums) w/ cilantro - set aside.
    2. take you chicken, dip in coat in whole wheat flour.
    3. coat in egg
    4. coat in oatmeal/breadcrumbs/mixture
    5. bake @ 375 for 20-25 minutes.

a good dip for this is a mix of dijon & honey...hotsauce, or whatever you want really

its just a bit for breading. any chicken Parmesan, or veal cutlet italian style will have a similar type of coating, just no oats.

schnitzel too. some european countries even use more egg then breading, a which makes for pretty much an omlette wraped piece of pounded chicken

foreman + chicken + garlic powder/lemon pepper powder/mrs dash (alternating every day) = decent chicken
