Someone please explain to me why a rotary engine is so great

    or atleast why people think it's so great. What makes these better then any other type of motors out there. If they are so great why are they known to be so unreliable? I'm all ears. :)

    the design of the rotor makes for fairly low compression as well....responds very well to forced induction. Until the apex seals go flying out of your exhaust.

    You can add rotors to your hearts content, sort of. It revs to high heaven, and handles boost very well.

    werd, if you own a turbo rotary, you need to have the money to back it up. everyone that i know that has a NA has not had as much trouble as turbo

    the easy way to put it is, they are only unreliable becuase of people who dont know wtf they are doing.

    built smart, and correct, they are just as good as any other motor.

    not really. with a ported NA motor, you can hit the high numbers for horsepower.

    of course you will have a shitty idle.......
