I went into a store and parked next to a blue TrailBlazer. Went inside, the only people in there were me, my girlfriend and a man and his child. Man and child left, then so did me and my girlfriend. Got outside to the parking lot and the TrailBlazer was gone, but they left a nice present on my rear driver's side door. A FUCKING DENT with blue paint in it!!!!!!! :madfawk:

I got most of the paint off with just Final Inspection and a towel, I'm sure I can get the rest out with some polishes, but the FUCKING DENT is still in my door. I'm just going to have to live with it, I guess. It's not worth it to me to get it repaired at the body shop, besides the fact that I don't know a reputable one anymore. :wtc:

See if anyone in your area does paintless dent repair (PDR). Usually, if the ding is not too deep, they can work it out for $100 or less.

I'm really pissed off about it right now, but in the long run I don't think it's worth $100 to me. I have other things that the $100 could be better spent on right now. I'm pretty anal about my car, but I have to draw the line somewhere.

On a side note, I'll be trying the "dry ice" trick if I can get ahold of some dry ice. Have any idea where I can get it, on the cheap?

can't you undo the internal trim and push it out? it will look better that way and that will cost you $0 :big grin:

I'm going to try that, I just don't have enough time to do any work on my car.

The only place that sells it around here is an industrial gas place, the smallest amount they'll sell me is 1/4 block (8-12 lbs.) for $12. No thanks. :(

Regular ice wouldn't be cold enough.
