A&P Some stuff I did in grade 8...worth it to go back and redo them?

    thanks for the comments guys :)

    re the first one...yeah i know it isn't great lol, but just the concept though? it was my first time working with oil and its tricky!

    but yeah i think the second one is more my style, i did it so quickly too...no thinking at all, its with really watered down acrylic

    i like the first one better than the 2nd, fwiw.
    I dont understand the whole concept behind going back and redoing them, though.

    The 2nd one is perfect, the colors are bold, it has a specific style, and it's well balanced. The first one could easily be improved if the colors weren't so washed out and there was better execution on the concept. Currently it looks like the whole scene is flat, with more definition in the buildings and people it could be on par with the other one.

    thanks yeah..

    first time working in oil it's hard :o the teacher said the bottom bit was really good, but the top was shit :mamoru:

    also the second one is just on cardboard or whatever its called...clayboard i think, so it doesnt actually look that good...but i dont think i can get the same effect on canvas
