Like the first one best, but it could use a bit longer exposure, as could most of them.
Could have cropped the first one at the bottom a little bit more as well.

Llike someone said before, I would have exposed them a bit more. Composition wise, I like the first one the best.

Yea, you are probably right... I have a hard time trying to figure out what looks right... Because something may look perfect to me, but then anyone else looks at it and everything is wrong :o

I've always noticed it to be the other way around. I do all my work on my powerbook (webpages) and when i go to view/test them on a windows machine, the color isn't anything like I was looking for. A digital screen will generally render color better than an analog screen.

oh and keep trying stealth, you'll get there. Open the shutter a little longer or use exposure compensation.

I like the 3rd one. It needs a higher fstop, longer exposure, and some cropping.

No, it's because the default apple profiles are very :riaa:

They blow out midtones and gamma :nono:

You are used to doing things by the apple standard display profile for a baseline, and other displays, including properly calibrated ones will look very very different.

The same could be said for a default pc setup compared to a calibrated screen, but the PC is probably closer to true :mamoru:

i still don't agree but thats my opinion. i've done prints from both machines (and I print roughly 50 photos a day from windows machines) and the ones I print from my mac depict what is displayed on the screen closer than the pcs do.
