took a recent trip to Vegas with my girlfriend, collected a few pics along the way

    all taken with a Canon 10D + 50mm f/1.8
if some are blurry its due to trying to handhold (big mistake) + drinking

    inside the Luxor

I took the same pic. I thought it was the best one I took while there. I only have the resized compressed jpgs because I forgot to backup my hd before it crashed

nice shot -- I wish I would've had a wider angle lens, the 50mm (85mm equivalent on the DSLR) wasnt wide enough for that same shot you took, no matter how far I moved back I couldnt get it, and as you know the tram/monorail/whatever its called is directly behind you there

Your pics look awesome. I would like to go back with a DSLR, but they are so big :hs: I bought an S400 just because of this trip. It was small and could keep it in my pocket the entire time. :coold:

hear you loud and clear lol, i lugged my 10D w/ vertical battery grip along for the entire trip, walking up and down the strip for 5 days straight

+ tripod + photo bag w/ other gear

if I went back (which I will) i'll just set aside a day/night for pics and use a smaller cam for the rest of teh trip
