Most of these should be in the latest issue of MOTOR magazine in Aussie Land.

    Enjoy. :wavey:

Yeah unfortunately with this sort of stuff I can only take the car at a specified location, or where the journalist staff are willing to go, as you can see with the TT I had a choice of location for that one and it pays off.

7 , 8 , 11 are the weakest, they kind of break up the series and kind of left me with a bland taste in my mouth.

i love the rest of the shots though.

The audi going fast in the workshop is kinda... wierd? You are trying to show speed but you are parked in a crowded workshop with equipment on nearly all sides of you.

    I like 12 and 14 the best

#4 is great. I can think of a few scenarios that lead up to that shot. Both being planned and maybe an oh fuck moment.

did you only use lighting for the first shots or it's PP to darken the back.. or both?

3, 9, 10... 10 is very Scott Dukes like (just not as well planned out, such as hot spots where you know where the light sources are coming from, etc.). very nice stuff. and definitely quality work

12 would be so awesome, if you had the same vantage point, but no green car.

Thanks for the comments, I know there is a lot that can be improved with these shots, I usually take hours to setup my shoots and get every detail sorted but unfortunately editorial work is all about doing it quick and effecient :(

There is 3 flashes used there

Number 10 was a nightmare to shoot, was freezing cold and the roof I was on started forming frost on it!

From memory there is 8 or so flashes been popped by the drivers/staff while I stood up there with my finger on the shutter the whole time (didn't have a cable release!)

7, 8, 11 definitely the weakest of the set. #10 you've got a stray strobe off to the right of the Audi, and a couple of shadows from your helpers in there as well. Nice shots. Love the location for the audi shoot.
