If you're reading this you probably know what it is. This particular one is older and is a low-voltage hotshoe variant which is compatible with modern DSLR cameras. Good functional shape. It has a sticker on it from some school where it was probably stolen from ~20 years ago. I bought it on ebay a while back and used it occasionally with good results. $55 shipped

Not positive what model it is (F4?) but it's very large and durable. You can fit a 14" or smaller laptop in the front pouch, as well as several bodies, lenses, flashes, clothes, etc... Basically it's overkill for me since I rarely carry more than one lens/body at a time. This is a good price; these fuckers aren't cheap. The shoulder pad and divider alone are $30 each or something ridiculous. It's made out of some sort of badass canvasy material that should last at least through the apocalypse if not longer. $100 shipped

Cheap and sharp wide zoom. In very good shape. I've used this lens about 95% of the time for the last year. It is a very significant step up from a kit lens and is also a good wide angle for full frame cameras since it's EF mount. It's VERY solid. Made mostly of metal. It could definitely be used as a weapon in a pinch. I'm selling it because it's getting to the point where I need to upgrade. This is a very good deal for a novice photographer.

I don't know why I have the urge to buy that lens from you. Probably because it would do 90% of everything my 17-40 does for 1/7 of the price.

I've actually done a back to back comparison with a 17-40l. Sharpness and color at f8 are the same. 5.6 is the same but this lens has more ca. At around f4 the l is sharper and much less ca. That said for the price this lens is very impressive. It almost isn't worth selling but I am ready to move on.

Grrrr. I'll stick with the 17-40. I promised myself I would quit buying lenses this year.... only a body upgrade is allowed.

I'm surprised nobody has picked it up yet though. Too good of a deal to pass up. If I didn't already have something "better" covering the range, it would be mine.

Yeah I'm surprised nobody has jumped on it. I don't really care though it gives me more time to decide on a prime.
