I thought you were being sarcastic. :wtc: I can't go any lower up front. That's as low as I can go with the Cusco Zero 2 coilovers. And I don't get what you mean by sunken battleship wheels

Thanks. The tails are the oem 94+ There aren't really any other options out there. I haven't dynoed the car yet. I'm assuming it's in the 300-310whp range. It's a JDM gen3 swap. Running 21lbs with methanol injection. Planning on gettin a bigger turbo soon.

There is such a thing as practicality. If he goes any lower, he'll only be able to drive the thing on glass, and only on sunny days.

I drive a lower car than that as my daily. i have no problems at all. you just can't drive like a moron anymore.

sunken battleship wheels are when the offsets are too high in the positive range, and they aren't flush with the fender. they're sunken in. it looks good, but could look better.

Oh cool. Im not offended in any way. I love cars that are straight sittin on their nuts. I just dont wanna fuck my shit up. Sometimes you just have no choice. Plus my front lip is fiberglass which sucks donkey dick. Emissions testing already tried to turn me away for being too low... assholes.

Those wheels aren't sunken in. They're not flush, but then flush isn't practical because the tires will grind against the fenders (even when rolled) every time you hit a bump.

I'm curious. In your opinion Vicious-S: cutting into other people's lanes on the highway, in order to dodge potholes, because your car is too low to take a hit -- does that count as driving like a moron or not?

if the wheels aren't flush, then they're either poking out, or sunken in. flush wheels aren't practical on cars built for function, like race cars. in order to properly fit flush wheels, you'll need to pair it with a stretched tire, which has no dangerous side effects, other than a skinnier contact patch, but thats a given.

as for swerving into someone's lane trying to avoid something in the road, thats moronic. the trick to driving a low car is to watch traffic ahead of you, always keep a good distance from the vehicle in front of you, and have multiple escape routes. i've been driving low cars for years now, and haven't ever caused an accident.

back on topic... Drew, your car is hot, and I totally understand why you don't want to fuck your shit up. I know most people don't like driving busted up rigs like I do, lol. I've always like the sw chassis. a buddy used to have a 400+whp one, and I miss getting to drive it when he was drunk

midship runabout two seater!! Nice screen name! 3sgte ftl.

Oh and thanks again everyone for the comments and constructive criticism. I want to finish the exterior before doing an all out build. And vicious S I see what ur saying. Before this I had an acura integra and a lot of my buddies still rock hondas. Those guys tuck 15's like its nobodys business.

4 days after gettin my front lip installed and painted I hit a semi tire on the freeway. It was bright as fuck out and I hit it under an underpass and didnt see it coming at all.

Everything you just said about driving a low car applies equally to driving a minivan. Or a Camry. Or a motorcycle. Or (insert everything else here).

If only people would do it.
