    So i'm new in this place and to photography but i'm soon going to buy a dslr to pursue my new love more seriously :)

    These are just some shots i've taken over the past year with my Canon Ixus II. I know there's alot wrong with them but...hmmm... :noes:

    :) Thanks! My next project, other than learning how to shoot with a dslr :o is to learn photoshop. The only one above that has been edited is the strokes one. The ixus overexposes everything and i know i could improve my pictures pretty easily, but i guess as they are only travel pics really i haven't bothered.

    It was taken with a digital non-slr camera, with has steps of something like 50 100 200 400... i guess i used 400 but i can't remember :hs:

    I think using digital cameras makes these shots pretty easy, kinda cheating... it took a while to get the settings right but not that long

    good ideas, although the photo quality seems to be lacking a bit.

    what does this mean?? Badly shot? They aren't taken with the best camera, and also at low resolution :hs:

    They're not exceptionally sharp or vibrant.

    That can be fixed in photoshop. So don't sweat it.

    Composition in some of those is excellent.
