    were u using the eye control or is it not worth the money

    Having never used a 7 I can't speak for its implementation but on my EOS A2e (EOS 5) it absolutely rocks. Nothing you couldn't live without but it sure is a slick feature when you're trying to keep focus on a moving object. If it strays in the viewfinder but your eye stays on it, it stays in focus :)

    For still shots...its just a lazy-man's crutch.

    I always use the eye-controlled DOF preview though.
