Was kind of an afterthought, I was just driving by and decided to go snap some pics. Here's a few that turned out. There wasn't anyone there that I thought was stellar, but I tried to make due with the talent that was there, mostly high school kids, but meh.

You'd be on to something real sweet with an off camera flash.

Thanks! I like it too. I think I'm going to try a little more PP on it, take down the exposure a tad and add some burn to the right area that's a little too bright. I did a quick and dirty edit of it and thought it improved it greatly. Still learning all this PP stuff though!

Thanks. I was using a flash, but realized I was doing it completely wrong... lol I have a Sunpak 383 (and Vivitar 273 that I wasn't using) that I was using on camera as a fill, but I didn't realize that I was shooting way above the sync speed. (Most of the shots are in Av, 1-400 ISO, f4.0-5.6 and shutter speeds between 800 and 2000).

I didn't really know what sync speed was, but not I have a good understanding of it, and realize that for what I'm looking to do I need a flash with high speed sync, like a 580ex, but can't really justify dropping $400 on one now.

    :noes: Who?

Yeah, the place is kind of a paint, half is covered by trees, the other half is greatly lit. I need to figure out my flash, and if I can get a high sync speed out of it or not.
