    I dunno... seems to be pretty effective. It's getting talked about, and obviously evoking all kinds of emotion...

    photo = success.

    unappealing in what sense?

    If you're going for that kind of look I think the photo is a success as well.

    I also take cell phone pictures of my massive turds when they are over a foot long. So are those considered successful as well when people tell me how gross they are?

    I checked into using MM, but saw that the vast majority of the models in my area are into that or just the goth in general stuff and I ain't wasting my time.

    I do find it funny though. A few locals I know by reputation on there are kind of... whorish. I could see them being like that.

    This one particularly. I have seen her around the town. She keeps her mouth closed all the time because she has a really bad diastema (gap between front teeth).

    [IMG]

    I am sure she is nice though. :)

    I've met a lot of really nice people through MM :o

    and I'll be willing to bet that concept was the model's idea, not the photographers. There's a large "alt model" scene in columbus and they all want zombie/bloody shots done. Which I refuse to do.

    There are also a lot of GWC's @ MM though. The last group shoot I went to had a lot of guys using low end gear to take pics of young girls wearing nothing. There are a few who actually take it seriously, but when I see a guy with a digital rebel using the pop up flash while he takes pics of a girl completely naked with the exception of her heels, I have to question his true motives for being there.

    Yeah, that's odd. Partly why I have yet to experience group shoots. I just think it would be creepy.

    Well with that kind of attitude I'd find it hard to believe you're interested in any kind of work other than that of your own liking.
