I have a problem in XP on IE. Some how someone used the computer and got some form of internet portal in the registry. It is called thko.com and i cant get rid of it. It is just a spaming portal that pops up ads. It used to be set as my homepage and not go away but i got that taken care of. Still though every single time i load IE it redirects me to my homepage through this site. I dont know if it is related but some how, something has added a ad bar to all my windows that i have to manually hide everytime. Again i cannot find a source file for this so it is my registry somewhere. This is real frustrating stuff. Oh the name of the toolbar is "kblafooall" or something like that.

Get adaware, install it, update it and run it. It will clear all that shit out for you.

also do a search in the registry for all keys that have that site in it, and delete them if the adaware doesnt work.

Now that lavasoft is finally updating their software and definitions again, it should be all that you need.
