went on a small adventure this past wednesday because we were bored...

i have to say i'm not extremely happy about the pictures. if anyone has any advice on shooting trains please let me know, thanks. these are only a few of the hundred shots i took. none of the others were pleasing to me.

  2. if you're having problems shooting on the inside of the train bring a tripod and remote. I like the inside shots the best, I wish I lived close would be a great place for a model shoot!

edit: oh shit you are close to me.

    1. where in NJ are these trains?
    2. How far from Philly?
    3. Is there a power source near by?
    4. care to help out with a shoot and maybe make a few monays? :naughty: :hay:

pick up an inverter and use a car battery.. byo bag.

  8. my ghetto ass already tried it :mamoru: :o

went to pepboys and picked up a 900 watt power inverter for like $175 and tried to hook up only 2 lights. As soon as i flip the switch to power up the lights the inverter cuts off every time :o So I'm like ok fine I'll shoot with just one light.. same thing.. Good thing I was just testing the shit out and not shooting someone, that'd be embarassing!!! :eek4: Actually I think hooking up my lights to my suv would be even more embarassing.

Needless to say I brought that POS back, I was only planning on borrowing it for a few days anyways :mamoru:

you want a sinewave inverter. The lights probably have mains filters which will eat a cheaper 'modified' inverter.

and you shouldnt need 900w either.
