    The first spider is what I call a garden spider. I think that is the common name. They are fun to feed.

    2nd, 3rd sunsets are probably the strongest images there... the one spider image seems to have too much shadow on it.

    I can never get fireworks or lightning. I love the reds in two of those sunset pics. Very nice.

    I'm using a sony cybershot.

    The lightning and fireworks pictures were taken using the "nightshot" feature, which I'm pretty sure just exposes the shot longer.

  12. For 35mm SLR, best way to get a lightning shot is to have a tri-pod, set the camera to Bulb, and have a cable shutter release. Your other option, is to set the camer to 10,20,30 second exposure, press the button and hope. You can burn through ALOT of film before you get something, but when you do, it is usually well worth it.
