why dont you start shooting with a 50mm 1.8 more? its so much better than that 28-105 IS lens you have :fawk:

    why the border?[/artistprick]

(there's this kid i know who's really not cut out to be a photo artist (he could be a good commercial photographer for sure) but he's in the wrong program, who ALWAYS puts borders on his art and it bugs the hell out of me because i ask him why and he cannot give me a reason, even when he really really shouldn't put burders on, he will just because... he's getting torn apart in critiques this quarter....)

I guess spellcheck doesn't work with magic markers :hs:

But it is a cool shot.

I'm less than a beginner, but I've been trying to read up on composition. Wouldn't you ideally use a wide angle lens for this type of shot? If you're limited to a digicam, you probably don't have that option though, right?

I would not necessarily use a wide angle lens, a 50 to 80 mm is just right, what do you consider wide angle? to me, everying <50mm is wide angle.

I'm not an artist, but I do have an appreciation for art. I also love the bridge picture. Good job! :) Where was that pic taken?

  15. my fave is the san fransisco bridge. that picture is oddly moving, with all the meanings behind it.
