9k is too much for a used bike though.
And I would probably die.
Well since I just picked up a 05 749s for 8500 buck his price is a bit high IMHO
He's now offering bike + $1k cash. I think he really wants to get rid of it.
What have you ridden before?
Nothing. I don't even have a license LOL.
Why do you think I'm not even considering his offer.
Will take MSF after I sell the car though.
He'd be lucky to get $6500-7000 for that bike.
well since you're a gti owner, the maintenance fees won't really come as a shock
former vr6 gti owner
That bike would be about 11K here
That bike would be like 20k in europe
Well first of all I wouldn't really suggest that bike for a person who has never rode before...
Says the guy who hurt the girl on his R6, being a jackass, and ignoring her pleas to slow down because she was scared
How is that relevant? Have you contributed at all to the topic? No, so get the fuck out.
I would not agree. The 749 is a excellent Superbike to learn to ride on. My wife jumped on it with in 3 hours on a 500 cc single trainer.
i would love me one of these, cept my friend said he paid 200 bux to replace one of his mirrors...
But still so hotttttttt.
I contributed that he shouldn't listen to irresponsible jackass number one
With a MSF course, and the proper gear, and you taking it easy, you should be able to learn how to ride the bike.
Just don't do what jackass here did, and go around without gear, doing 100+
I say this because you have something like a 65% chance of dropping your first bike at least once. I would not be happy at all to drop a beautiful Ducati such as this one.
I love stats,
So were did you get that number what is it based on?
Even experince riders can drop a bike or for that matter a guy driving cars for 20 years goes out and buys a Ferrari and hit his garage while parking. Shit happens you want a duc you by one. If you drop no problem just fix it or buy another.
Do what makes you happy.
