So engagement photo isn't one of my usual gigs, but a friend asked so i obliged. Here are some of the ones they chose. Unfortunately the majority of the ones they selected were the more straight forward type shots. But anyway, here they are, just thought i'd share since i don't often post my work here.

Yeah, that last one i believe was unfortunately shot wide open, so he's a slightly soft. Oh well.

for the first one, it's all natural light. Sun above and behind them, and there happened to be a big white wall about 10ft behind me, so that provided some fill.

The second one, natural sunset light w/ a few clouds in the sky. 580ex w/ stofen omnibounce pointed up for a very slight fill.

Yeah, I think the limited color palette does it for me too :bigthumb:

Good set overall though, I'm sure they were happy with them.

Really like these! Great job :)

3rd pic is a red x, so I don't really know how to number them correctly, but I love the first one, both the football ones, the beach and the sunset.

Thanks, we had some fun w/ the jerseys idea, but unfortunately they didn't choose any as their selects. Maybe if i have time i'll work on one or 2 of the other ones from that set that i thought were more interesting.

Great pictures man, are these straight out of the camera except for resize?
Also, I think a little sharpening for some of them would make them perfect.

Thanks man. No they're not straight from the camera. They've been PPed and retouched, but nothing too major.

As for sharpening, i already did some sharpening to them, but very minimal. I'm not a fan of heavy sharpening.

thanks, i have to be honest, i'm not so good doing personal portraits. I'm much better at working w/ models since they know what they're doing :hsd:
