i actually think the numbers are pretty decent for Serra and its not a bad matchup for him really. Hughes is a much better fight for him than GSP was.

I think Silva has a little more on Franklin than Hughes on Serra, although I do think Hughes is gonna win and Franklin is gonna put up a much better fight than last time (wouldn't take much).

I honestly don't see Franklin getting picked apart right off the bat this time but I also have a hard time seeing him win. I think that Serra has a better chance against Hughes.

franklin was doing pretty good up until clinch...he was beating silva standing on the outside...but it completely went downhill once they clinched

The only hope that I have is that Franklin pulls it out.

That is probably the first time I can recall where a defending champion was that big of an underdog.... I seriously think Serra has a chance... much better than Rich does against Anderson....

you mean he sized him up better? :mamoru:

I dont recal rich hitting him once. I remember i think a half hearted leg kick and a couple jabs to gauge distance.

regardless, inside, outside, rich is gonna get fucked up unless he gets him down.

thats what I was thinking, i'll be rooting for Silva, but rich is the kind of guy i would never root against.

why? what's not to like about franklin? he's not the best fighter but the man busts his ass and seems really humble.

i know sherk is good, but damn if BJ isn't a monster if his conditioning is up and his head is in there.
