    Hey guys,

i am fairly new to downloading stuff using the torrents and burning dvds and stuff.i was wondering if anyone could walk me thru a few things or provide a good website to learn this stuff...

whenever i download a dvd or something.i get it as an "avi" file.what is the correct procedure to burning avi files to dvd and making them watchable on my dvd player?

Is there a way to get around copy protected dvd movies?

Thanx alot for any help you guys could provide.

I use Ulead, it converts video files automatically to make VCDs/DVDs.
I use Nero as well sometimes, but mostly Ulead.

videohelp.com has tons of great guide for converting just about any video format to DVD.
Plus links to the tools used in each guide, many of which are freeware.

Plus you can get reviews for your DVD player and hacks for the player to make it region free and sometimes to make it play S/VCDs if possible.
