So I've been on the WS4SB for three weeks now, and I think I like it, however, my deadlift is what concerns me. I started at week one with 130lbs, then week two went to 150lbs, then this week I'm at 160lbs (max effort of 5). However, I'm not sure I'm really doing them well. I think first of all those numbers sound low even for starting out. Also, my lower lower back feels like there's a pinch for like a day or two after, so that would make me think that my form is bad, but I make sure my back is straight, shoulders rounded and fill my stomach with air before descent. I don't know what would be causing this pain. Should I not be adding weight every week? Also, am I supposed to reset after each rep or no? I'm 5'10 160lbs btw.

do whatever you feel like doing as far as resetting or not resetting. personally, i think resets are more beneficial if going for #'s

I wouldn't go for a true max. Just work up to something like 2-3 sets of 5 at a top weight. Would probably be a little more beneficial to you IMO

:werd: I know I max far too often myself, once every 2-3 weeks... I still see the biggest benefit from 5RM's
