what do you think?
I think i'm getting better
of all the threads I've looked at today in this section
settings? and lense?
that one i believe was 3''2, F20, ISO100
and 300D kit lens
Link to Original?
Link to all the originals? Also, what was your post process?
the originals don't look much different, in the first one i just used the Burn tool on the whole picture to darken it a bit, i used the dodge tool on the lower part of the 2nd one to brighten up the landscape because i exposed the sky in the pic, and the the third one is exactly how i took it
so...like no one has any criticism?
i hope i can take pics with my d70 when i get it(in 1 week) , because i just picked d70 instead of rebel..
Good shots, but if you really want a critique for things to work on,
1st pic, I would move the subject out of the center, mabe put it in the upper left and changed perspective by getting lower and looking more towards it.
2nd pic is oversaturated, especially in the green channel. If the sky is that dark the grass shouldn't be glowing. Looks like the white balance is a liitle cool, maybe warming it up. Gravel looks slightly blue. I might also crop out some of the foreground to emphesize the sky more.
3rd pic, good use of lines. The sunset is nice and all, but the foreground really covers the most of the picture, I might have exposed for it instead of the sunset. The foreground is just really blan in tones and color. Also what lens did you use? It looks like you have some vertical congergence in the telephone polls. Might try adjusting the perspective a little, and maybe rotating the pic so it right on axis, looks about 2 degrees off.
it's the 300D kit lens, thanks for the critique
Very nice... this only makes me want to get a Digital Rebel faster.
what program did you use to edit the pictures? those are some of the nicest pictures i have ever seen. Very nice
3rd pic is fab
The first is hawt.
The third needs to be more level with the ground.
