Awesome transition, I loved the trip he did in the beginning, totally caught him off guard.

Thats what you called getting tooled!

Great vid.My BJJ is better though :hsughr:

On that note though, I've rolled in a gi twice. I hated it both times. I get tooled by 3 month white belts. I can't pass the guard, I get mine passed..its just a diffrent game from BJJ based subisions wrestling.

i enjoy no gi a little more.. but i wouldnt just want to train without the gi. once you get the hang of it.. gi becomes fun too.. but i know what u mean, first time you roll with it on you feel like youre wearing a bunch of ropes

All the guys I train with always ask why I dont have my blue belt. I'm sure I could get it with a few months work in a gi. Maybe that should be my goal for before Christmas. I have this super nice gi that i've only used twice.. I might as well.

i actually started with a gi and a few months later the school started a no-gi class. I found that i was just naturally better without it for some reason.

That said, the gi is a great workout tool if for nothing else it's great for conditioning.
