I'll add them, marcom never heard of those sites, I'm looking for quality hosters and not the 1and1 types.

true, I'm trying to convery the fact and I should clarify that most other companies out there are middle men and these places are actual datacenters and by doing that you get people on the phone or you get tickets resolved right away instead of some joe who has to check his email and then try and fix it and or then forward it to the real hosting company for them to fix it.

add aplus.net to the hosting companies.

I've had a value server with them for a year now and their service (even on a $50/month server) has been extremely great.

What do people think of dreamhost? I know a lot of OT'ers use their service, and you can get really good deals if you look around.

I love http://www.w3schools.com/ I go there constantly (I'm pretty good with CSS but have a lot of questions).

As for hosts, I don't even think that should be included in this thread, there are like 11tybillion.

I stand behind azoogle. They have GREAT affil managers who will help you with anything.. even if all you have is an idea that you think could convert. They'll do everything short of write the code for you.

namecheap is pretty reliable for domain names. I've had domains there for about four years with no problems

A lot of the companies you listed may be major datacenters, but they also have hundreds of thousands of customers. You are just a number the them. Hell, you might as well have recommended Godaddy too :mamoru:.

I run a hosting company and we may be what you consider a middle man, but we take care of our customers day in and day out whenever they need something.

I have a reseller account through Myriad Network. I haven't heard anything bad about them, and have had no problems.
