Jani is one of the newest EFS contributors... simply put he's an animal. Him and his crew walked into WPC Worlds this year and everyone stopped. He is 6'3+ and over 300lbs, and so was the rest of his crew.

This is a video from his bench training in a single ply Metal shirt (single ply metal shirts are IPF approved).

    272.5 x 1
    302.5 x 1
    325 x 1
    340 x 1
    352.5 x 1

Those are some of the fastest 600-777lb benches I have EVER seen and they were in a single ply shirt. so amazing

Maine maybe you can enlighten me a little bit here:

Why does he go down soooo slow and then just rocket it back up? I agree that his speed on the way up was astounding, but I'm wondering why the slow downward movement.

You want to control it on the way down in order to get it in the "groove." If you just yank it to your chest you're likely to miss the groove.

I dunno... its just his style. Some like to drop slow. He said the shirt wasnt too tight and he had no touching issues, so I'm assuming he just lowers it slow

Right that's what I thought. I figured it wasn't any other reason then his personal style/control.
