They need to make cars with a decent interior, one that doesnt fall apart in 30k.

:hsugh: they redesign cars every few years and instead of going to the RWD platform like some other car makers the choose to stick with FWD then decide to stick 303hp v8's in them :wtf: just make it RWD and it will sell.

Maybe they should make a car that is APPEALING that doesn't cost $50,000. The Vette and the Silverado are the only worthwhile Chevys, and anyone that just wants a regular car has no real options because their cars are boring and shitty.

They also need to get the hell rid of UAW. That would solve alot more financial problems than most realize.

I think GM should make more SUVs. I don't think 15 different models is enough.

UAW is part of the problem, but so are the non-truck vehicles (read: cars) that bask in mediocrity. Bland styling, underpowered and dated engines, no innovation or inspiration, etc. I don't just want an appliance to take me to work and the grocery store; I want something with a little personality.

Heres GM solution let those fuckers go on strike and get rid of those unions or renegociate with them.

GM should just have Chevy, Caddy, Hummer, GMC(their trucks sell well) and sell all the other crap off. Hummer for as much as they hate them are popular and sell pretty well.

Get rid of Pontiac, buick and oldsmobile.

Maybe even do 3 years free maintenance for the first 24,000 miles.

Wow, someone who actually has a bit of familiarity with what's going on with GM right now. :mamoru:

I love how people think that completely restarting the engineering/design process, revamping an entire car line from however many branches GM has, marketing them, and making sure that they're all RWD won't cost billions and take years. :hsugh:

GM should bring back the Impala SS , Camaro (a cute little V6 model and V8, make a Hybrid Suburban, Tahoe, Escalade for all the soccer moms. I know about 15 real estate agents who would buy Hybrid Escalade and pay 70k for them.

Agree 100%. GM has to look in the mirror as well as at the union. Take the Malibu for instance. What a friggin' joke. Rental car bland styling, boring driving characteristics and as someone who owned a real Malibu (1971 Chevelle Malibu), the car is blasphemy.
