'03 41K on the odo comes with 4 extra OEM AMG wheels. $31K

To be honest I never even considered these cars until I happened to see an old C&D review, remarkably quick stock. + AMG depreciation = lot of car for little money. Figure I can hold on to this for 3 years and lose less than 10K

Now I just gotta sell the EVO

The ride is surprisingly stiff compared to a 07 CLK550 or any e-class I've ever driven. Steering is numb compared to the EVO but much improved compared to other MBs, I'd say it's on par w/ the 335.

Too much body roll...but that's fixable.

The manual mode is pretty responsive/enjoyable, actually holds a gear too. Quick down shifts as well.

It's FANTASTIC on the highway, amazing powerband, overall I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Now I just need to sell the $24K paperweight of an evo in my garage

Does the previous owner post on mbworld? a couple of those pictures look familiar.

Awesome ride! :bigthumb: Have the resonator cut out pronto!

Also, are you looking to sell the other set of wheels? :x:

Those pictures are just of any black CLK55 I found on the mbworld "post pics" thread. I haven't had a chance to take pics. The previous owner is gixxer on MBworld though, that's where I found the car

I'm sorry, but there is no way that the steering input in that thing is anywhere near the BMW. This thing is fast, I'll give it that, but I highly doubt it has the feedback of a BMW when you push this thing around a turn.

I've driven both :dunno: They're honestly not that different (steering wise) when getting tossed into a corner on an on-ramp.

I couldn't say how they are on track as I haven't driven either on track yet.
