So,I broke down and sold my 98 GTP and 00 GTP..My 2000 GTP had many mods done to it,it ran low 11's,but I wanted somthin that I can make run 9's.So last week,I went to my buddys dealership and asked him how much he would give me for both my cars. All together with both the cars he gave me 19,500. So,then I went to the local Pontiac dealership and found a 2004 GTO for $22,895,6 Speed, and 9,944 Miles. Im gonna put it on the road for a week or so,then park it in my garage and start to take the engine out. Im doing all internals, bored, stroked, ported, polished, headers. Im buying a Star Performance Super Charger and buying a 05' rear fascia and getting a new exhaust system. Hopefully by the time im done I will be running 9's:x: But anyway heres pics of the car. Enjoy:wavey:

    Very nice upgrade, congratulations.

I'd ditch that hood and replace it with a MPD hood though. They look much better and give the car a real GTO look.

My friend has a turbo LS1 camaro running High 10s with just a cam and turbo, Turbo cars are the new set-up, and if I were to go with a supercharger, I would get a ProCharger or a Vortech. Just my .02 though.

Very nice, OEM quality hood. Better than the Monaro scoops the 2005/2006 comes with stock.

Awesome car! You can run 9's without putting a blower or turbo. Lunati stroker, NX dual stage 150/200 shot, and other supporting mods.

I would say, if you're looking for a streetlike tire, get the M/T ET Street Radials. There have been guys running 7s on them

Your not gonna get those tires to fit without tubbing it and good luck with that irs making it into the 9's on a standard better get a solid axle or save for a big dollar IRS

I believe you're right. BMR had to do a ton of driveline work to get their LS1 GTO to kiss the 9s.

First they have a junk 2 piece ds but since your doing exhaust work you can put a 1 piece. The cars are set up so you really can't put a good tire on it without tubbing it and that is tough cause the gas tank is right there. Then you have the problem of the IRS wich isn't strong and very tiny. A solid axle is a project but can be done. Or there is 1 company from australia that makes killer IRS system but that are like 3g's for the middle pumpkin and like a 2 g's for the rest and even then who knows how strong it is.
