OK, somehow I messed up my foot and the doc gave me a one week soft shoe profile. I was wearing a pair of Reebok driving shoes (see image below, except mine are brown/tan) and and E6 (not mine) said I had to wear all black shoes. At this time he told me to buy some, and I said, maybe a little too blatantly, "No."
Anyway, the whole point of this is that I can't seem to find where it says what shoes are allowed for a soft shoe profile. The only reason I am wearing these shoes is because the are very light weight and very comfortable, which was, I thought, the entire reason for having the profile (the right side of my right foot was swollen for an unknown reason, and is still quite sore.)

You won't find it. Any shoes that are acceptable in the PT uniform should be acceptable to wear with your duty uniform. I'm not versed on AF stuff (which I believe you are...) but that's how it would work in the Army.

I'd advise you to ask your E-6 to point out where you could find what shoes are authorized. He'll go nuts trying to find it because I'm pretty sure he won't.

At the very least since you're AF, find some black hi-tec boots and wear those to avoid flack.

    1) I am fit for duty, and even combat. The Army put me on Atenolol due to some messed up nerve or something (happened after I joined)
    2) I am an E5 in the Army and have done my research on the matter. I couldn't find shit so asked here.

I work shift and the oncoming E6 was the one starting shit.

 that's exactly what I told him when he said "go buy some"
I still can't believe he told me the had to be black. The look on his face when I told him he wasn't wearing black shoes was priceless.

Yeah, I said the same thing. Aparently I have a nerve problem wherein my heart rate, at times, will go from ~140 to ~70 in, no pun intended, the matter of a heart beat. The reason they put me on Atenolol was so that my heart rate will stay low so when it does drop, it's not as drastic.
