Anyone have a cheap-o socket 775 mobo for a pentium 2ghz proc or know where I can find one. The 2 computers I recently acquired have proprietary mobos that are a very odd size and all proprietary plugs (fuck dell). Anyway, the Dell case it is in is ugly as balls and I want to put it in a nice media center case but it won't fit properly and none of the connectors hook up, so I'm looking for a cheep mobo to throw in there and I'll move the proc over to it.
Nothing fancy, just needs to support the proc, preferably DDR ram as I have an extra stick laying around, and thats all the requirements I have. Onboard lan, video, and sound would be preferred but not required. Thanks guys.

Find an open box Asus P5B or P5K from newegg, or a gigabyte DS3L from newegg. Should be able to find the open box stuff for ~$60.

This sounds like a "just run it" kind of build, so I would recommend an Intel board.

You might laugh, but I have one of these and it's the best all around board I've used since my scsi server boards.

Intel 965 micro-atx board. Comes with everything but the kitchen sink. (optional!)

    $61 shipped. DOOEEET!

8 channel Sigma Tel audio beats up on the Realtek chipsets.
    6 Sata 3Gb/s

    6 rear USB
    Front panel audio/usb/firewire
Socket 775 core 2 duo compatible

I've got an E6600 on mine, and it is rock solid for stablility.
