I need to get my bike serviced. Almost 20K miles and I haven't done anything except change the oil and filter. At the minimum I need to change out the plugs and get a valve adjustment, and probably new sprockets and chain.

Local place I used to go to went out of business.... :/ Suggestions for nice mom & pop place in north OC area?

I've heard good things about that place, but it's a bit far.

I just do everything myself... between service manuals and not being a dumbass, most of the work is easy if you take your time. The only thing I've had Apex do is mount tires. The first time they fucked up the rims because thier machine isn't touchless, and the second time both tires were installed backwards.

I also had great experience with Mach 1, they are a little pricey but great in customer service. Apex moto on the other hand I definitely would not recommend them. Vu (the owner) took parts off my bike such as my gel grips and replaced them with shittier $5 grips, along with other things. I would not trust this guy.

A friend of mine services bikes out of his garage, that is 'mom & pop' like as it gets. He lives in El Monte, PM if interested.
