You should be fine with that type of soap I used a similar one when I just got my frenum. It may also be a good thing to do soaks in warm sea-salt water.

thats what i got thankyou! i was looking for like... bodywash not hand wash :) just used it and its fine!

when you wash your piercing do you slide it over a lil to get the inside bar a bit or do you just wash the surface?

I used dial complete (the kind that foams up) As for moviing the bar when you clean it just move it enough to get rid of the dried lymph.

thanks chewbs thats what im doin movin it no more than 2-3/8 of an inch over ... i got it done at bodystain in columbus ohio by sarah... she was very helpful and even got me to calm down when she was doing this. ive never been pierced before, but you could tell that she knew what she was doing... what made me most happy was that she went as far as changing her gloves around 5 times

i looked for provon or satin and couldnt find them anywhere! went to 5 drugstores 2 meijer and 1 kroger! finaly just called sarah up again and asked her what to get while in the meijer

all she said to do was wash the surface 2 time daily and maybe an extra time if i am real active ... no redness.... onlything that hurts about it is that it kinda sticks to the balls a littlebit! then i gotta pull it away a lil so it unsticks and oooh.... :-O

i used listerine on my tongue piercing(only one i've had other than the most recent addition)

I wouldn't suggest using listerine on your penis, it may sting

Actually, there is. Over cleansing/over medicating a piercing causes excessive and unnessesary drying to the skin which in turn affects the healing process by providing irritation. :)

i was told that rotating my frenum would possibly loosen it... so im not suppost to... and im only gettin a verrrrry thin layer of "crusties" (have to look real close theyre white) on one bb so i shouldnt be too bad i think i was told sea salt soaks arent necessisary unless i get alot of crusties and or an infection starting... (prays to avoid infection on wang)
