Then you realized you were not attracted to the other person what do you do? Are you honest at the end of the date, end the date early and try to salvage the rest of the night, have someone call you in the middle of the date for an "emergency", something else?

Just curious what some of you people do.

I would treat it just as if you were hanging out with someone.... if she is hot, then you put on different moves... if she is not.... then you just act like yourself and be polite.... blind dates are for suckers unless your friends are hooking you up with a hottie.

Yeah I wouldn't try and cut out on her early. Make the best of the situation and at the end of the night just let the person know you aren't interested. You can always use the age old line I think we should just be friends

    Another reality apparently
no sense in being rude. Just bring up that she really isn't your type physically. Maybe she will still be cool, maybe not...ifso then you might atleast get a new friend from your efforts

If you just KNOW that whatever "it" is isn't there, be honest in the nicest, diplomatic way posssible and show some compassion...blind dates are never easy for either side...I should think that one would be nice enough to at least see that the "blind date" gets home safely or has cab fare (assuming of course, your blind date is a female).

Redhead = HAWT! My Fantasy just got better. :naughty:

Anyway, I've never been on a blind date, but you could follow the usual first date etiquette, be polite, have a good time, etc. At the end give hug, say you had a good time (which I'd hope you actually did), then say good night and walk to your car/truck/dog sled. But don't say anything about seeing them again, and definatly don't set anything up. If she/he asks well..... :dunno:, depends on how the girl/guy seems, can they handle a lightly sugar coated truth, or do they need it completly frosted?

Im the type of person that tends to be truthful to the point of pain.
If I thought the girl was lucid enough to handle it I would let her know I didnt think it was a match just to save her incase she was falling for me. I would be willing to finished out the date and still have a good time jsut hanging out or whatnot. Unless she was driving me crazy and I couldnt stand being around her.

I tend to get along with most people and personalitys. Im pretty flexable and forgiving.

Knowing my luck I would tell her I didnt think it was a match.
Get to know her better and started to fall for her. ><

you end it exactly as you would like to be treated in the same situation but reversed, simple as that.
