how do you guys with your 6-pack/8-pack, get yours?

what kind of exercises do you do? i'm trying to do sets of situps everytime i hit the gym but i'm not seeing any results after about 2 years.

i'm 5'8" at 130lb, and 3% body fat (this is most likely wrong because this sounds like i'm a skeleton)

do you guys do situps or curls? if so, what's the proper technique? there are so many different sites out there that say different things so it gets kind of confusing. any tips?

    :ugh:

Pics of 3% bodyfat? You aren't seeing your abs because chances are, you have no muscle

    1. you're not at 3% bf
    2. you most likely have very small abdominal/oblique muscles
    3. buy the ab dvd by gunner peterson
    4. ^ :ugh:
    5. bulk
    6. hanging leg raises, weighted crunches, weighted situps, etc

yea i never knew how they measure body fat % but the measuring technique at my gym seem far from accurate.

at any rate.. i probably do have small muscles, which is why i can't see much :dunno:

but weighted crunches and situps sounds like something i could do. do you know what the benefits of each are? and crunches do not seem to work as your abs as much as situps... or maybe i just do em wrong? :squint:

theres a myriad of ab exercises you can do.

if a 6 pack is all you are concerned with getting then just buy an ab pavelizer :mamoru:

I guarantee your not eating no where near enough. I'm 5'9 and Im eating 3500-4000 calories a day with 210-230 g of protein, try doing something like that and tell us if you don't get bigger. And if you're worried about getting fatter, then you don't really want bigger muscles anyway, because its more than likely going to happen.

just remember to contract the hell out of them when doing any ab work. Also concentrate on curling your spine when doing abdominal work, because that's where the abdominal contractions come from.

Look up some boxing ab routines, thats how I got my strong core

I'm struggling to gain still. It sucks lifting for months to see an extra 3 or 4 lbs on the scale.

At 130 you're probally not all that tiny. Hell, I started at 135 when I really started bulking, and I had pictures up. Yes, I was (and still am) thin, but I wasn't a walking stick.

    16 years old...

Work hard it, every other day or so.

Weighted crunches/situps... I also feel my abs working when I do good morning squats, give those a try.

although he probably doesnt have any muscle, at his height and weight he isnt going to look like a concentration camp evacuee, he does have SOME fat at that height and weight. even the guy whos 6'3" and 150 just looks really thin, not sickly.
