    yar has written extensively on this.

    basically, the saiga makes much more sense in European and Asian 3 gun has the stages involve either buckshot, slugs, or birdshot, and not a mixture of the 3.

    3 gun in America mixes bird, buck and slug all within a given stage. mag fed guns can still be used, but can be a huge detriment if you miss, which is why tube fed guns are used mostly.

    At first I thought that was something mindlessly complex like a calico-style helical magazine. Probably has the potential to misalign at the worst possible time, but it's not like simpler magazine designs are immune to malfunctions.
