Cool concept, but I'd rather have the space gun

Is that the one that can go from an assault rifle to a sniper rifle? Saw it on futureweapons I think.

I doubt I'll be picking one up, but I think the concept is pretty cool. :dunno:

I'm clearly being a little slow here but whats the point? The per shot cost isn't very different, 5.56 is already a cream puff to shoot, and you're trading a rifle round with decent terminal ballistics for a pistol round that is known to generally be the suck.

    I'd rather buy a PS90. But really, I wouldn't buy either.

It's kind of interesting. I do like how the brass ejects out the bottom. I assume this is out what used to be the magwell. The 50 round capacity without running a long magazine or drum is a plus too.

I do not like how it raises the height of the optics over bore. I'd like to keep it as low as possible.

I think this platform is more for CQB situations such as room clearing. Something where you might rather have a 9mm AR as opposed to a short barrel 223. The 223 is just not as good with something like a 8" barrel.

This thing would be real cool as a AR pistol. If it's strait blowback you might not even need a buffer tube.

Yar I love you, but the ballistics of a sbr ar still let it whoop up on 9mm rounds. :big grin:

Does anyone find it a funny coincidence that an ar in 10mm might be called an ar10... 10mm = .308?

sortof. The issue is you would have to rename the AR-15 to the AR556 or AR223 then :dunno:

Yeah I know but 9mm ar's are fun, and easy to suppress. It's just a very pleasant gun to shoot. I've always wanted to build on for those wussy ass 3 gun matches I shoot now and then where everything is under 100 yards. I got so much 9mm and it easier to make than 223.
