Doing some reading about the bad effects of dairy products, and whey was listed as a cause for bloating.

Right now I am using ON whey.

I haven't noticed any unusual bloating and I take ON whey as well.

Maybe its something else you're eating.

Look, dairy and whey will not cause excess bloating or keep you from losing weight unless you have an allergy to them. However, there is a reason why bb's cut them out before a contest. So, unless you are trying to go sub 6% bf then quit worrying about it. I had to cut them out in order to look the way I want but in order to look that way, I have to be 5 or 6%. I drank zero protein drinks for 12 weeks before my last show. When I was 3 weeks from the contest, I cut out equal and diet soda and I dropped 6 pounds in 7 days. I'm just very sensative to crap, I was still ripped while drinking diet drinks and eating equal, just not stage ready.

this is highly individual, like most things. whey doesn't give me problems, but milk and ice cream do.

Carbs are the only thing that gets me bloated.
