Hey, I've lurked this forum for a while, but this is my first time posting here. Any of you guys know a good place to find lithium ion batteries? A little unrelated, but I figured that you guys would know more about this then the great outdoors forum

I checked the stickies and couldnt find anything that special, can anyone beat this price?

if you go to ar15.com, there is a dealer BrightFlashlights, he has a dozen surefire batteries for $18.50, and he has an off-brand Battery Station, which he swears by, for $13 a dozen. thats about the best prices out there, and trust me, you dont want to put the expensive energizer batteries in your surefire, they dont last any longer than the surefire ones.

Cool, thanks. I sent him an e-mail asking what he had in stock for batteries and I will post up what he replies in case anyone else is looking for the same thing. Those little suckers are expensive for the runtime you get out of them.

Wow last time I bought batteries directly from surefire it was $15 for a box of 12 and free shipping, I had no idea they'd gotten so expensive....wish I'd stocked up now.

Well the arfcom guy is off to a good start with a quick e-mail response, and his prices are pretty good also.

    As promised:

"The SF123A's went up this year and are now $21.00 del. per dozen. I
also stock the Battery Station 123A's which are a true equal to the
SF123A's; they are $8.50 del. per 6 ct., $15.50 del. per dzn or it'd
    be $55.00 del. for fifty.

Let me know if I can help.

Below are the available payment options/details and our contact info:

If you're in the State of Florida I do have to charge 6.5% sales tax.

I have VISA, M/C (includes debit cards), Discover & American Express
acceptance by phone, you can reach us at - (352) 732-2156 from 11:00am
    - 7:30pm EST Mon. - Fri. or from 10:30am - 4:00pm EST on Sat. I can
also call you after those hours if you wish to send your ph. #.

Due to Ebay/PayPal's recent changes which further show their anti-gun
stance (feel free to ask) I have closed my business account with them.
I have my personal account but it CAN'T accept funds drawn from a
credit/debit card, only available balances or funds drawn from your
linked account can be accepted. Those transactions still have no
charges so PP won't be able to receive any fees off the transaction.
If your PP payment meets those requirements please send funds to my
    personal account at: [email protected]

Here are my regular mail payment options & terms for online
    transactions:

I prefer a US Postal or Western Union money order because that's what
I'm most comfortable dealing with and there would be no wait to clear.
With a USPS m.o. the purchaser has protections as well. Certified
funds/Cashiers check are fine also but personal checks will have to
clear first (5-7days). I always confirm when payment has arrived and
package goes out. I have a long list of references if desired.

Please confirm & please send ship to address.

Please make check or m.o. payable to (& send payment to):

    BrightFlashlights.com
    1845 NE 63rd St.
    Ocala, FL 34479

    Thank You.
    Calvin"

I also have his reply when I prodded into the paypal thing. I don't know if he would want me to post it here, but if you PM me I will send it. (Or you could get off your lazy asses and ask him yourself your choice :squint: )

I keep seeing on gunbroker and what not that paypal and ebay are anti-gun. Does that extend beyond them not allowing firearms to be sold/paid for with their services?

Yeah. Apparently they went so far as to shut down the accounts of several firearm related retailers (JTAC Supply & Denny's Guns on ar15.com, plus others), simply for the fact that they were firearm related retailers :eek3: .

    Sounts pretty anti-gun to me.

Those Battery Station cells are actually pretty good cells. Read the below thread for most everything you wanted to know about current production 123 Lithiums.

Also Brightflashlights is a great guy, I bought my SF 870 forend from him.

I agree. I ordered a G2 Nitrolon from him on Monday, got the order Tuesday. Of course, it's probably because we're both in Florida, but awesome service.
