So where are all those people who called me an idiot regarding the Genesis Coupe?

Taken from the Edmunds review thread...
So everything I predicted to a lesser extent. It's a decent car, but extremely generic. But just like the much-hyped/rave-reviewed Azera... The Steering is dull, the shifting feels horrid, the times and MPG are/is bad, and the interior is also made of so-so materials (not as bad as some GM's I'll admit). And the tranny is possibly going to suck as much as every other Hyundai. It does look sort of nice though.

Look, I'll man up and admit it, Hyundai has DEFINITELY come a long way in terms of improvement. However, you cannot deny that the Genesis Coupe doesn't live up to all the hype (especially to the extent some on OT did). Unless you start adding on aftermarket shit (which looks like this has the chance of becoming the next Civic), it's another one of what Hyundai does best...cheap generic cars.

You're an idiot for even caring this much. Which proves true everything since you could not let it go

I'd rock it. The 2.0T track should be low-20s.

We(Ot) never said it is a supercar. It's just a heap luxurious sedan and coupe.

I can't get past the looks of the front end, and it's more than half a second slower than my 10 year old mustang which makes less power.

Hopefully, but it probably weighs more, and I don't know what kind of gear ratios it has.

but I did 14.000 @ 99 at 1650 ft elevation, poor prep and el cheapo tires, 100% stock with 97k miles on it. and a bad 60 ft time.

I love how 'a bit dull' means the car is automatically totally generic...
