Taken from the Edmunds review thread... So everything I predicted to a lesser extent. It's a decent car, but extremely generic. But just like the much-hyped/rave-reviewed Azera... The Steering is dull, the shifting feels horrid, the times and MPG are/is bad, and the interior is also made of so-so materials (not as bad as some GM's I'll admit). And the tranny is possibly going to suck as much as every other Hyundai. It does look sort of nice though. Look, I'll man up and admit it, Hyundai has DEFINITELY come a long way in terms of improvement. However, you cannot deny that the Genesis Coupe doesn't live up to all the hype (especially to the extent some on OT did). Unless you start adding on aftermarket shit (which looks like this has the chance of becoming the next Civic), it's another one of what Hyundai does best...cheap generic cars.
