Hi, I'm just starting to get back into the gym after a few years of basically being a lazy ass.

So I'm weak as hell & have to start at the begining with these light ass weights that I feel embarrased to lift because I'm actually getting a workout & straining & all.

Anyway, I've been experiencing some wierd shakes while doing certain exercises. when doing crunches, lat pull downs, & some other things.

How long before this goes away?

It's crazy, but even when I'm warming up & not using heavy (for me anyway) weight, I still shake. I'll be all embarrased because I feel like everyone is looking at me thinking I have parkinsons or something. Anyway, I've heard that it goes away once your muscles get used to being used again, but it's been about 2 weeks now.

I'm no ceaze but to me it just means the muscles are working hard. If I don't shake at all I question the intensity of the work out

if you care about what others think in the gym odds are your doing a shitty workout. Get some music or something. Don't worry about what others think.

I'm not like slinking about in the gym & trying to see who's checking me out or anything. I'm not really in there trying to impress anyone or even really care. but I've never had this happen before, kind of makes me feel wierd. I'm in there trying to keep good form & get all my sets in.
