    Haha - I'm considering switching to a more weight lifting focused gym, and they have a tire and sledge out back.

    i do want to pickup a 16lb sledge, the one i have is only 10. but damn 16lb sledgehammer is like $45 :rant2:

    You won't have to absorb the force as it rebounds off the tire though.

    I have one in my back yard and use it like HIIT, what I like about it is my forearms get an amazing work out and it doesnt feel like exercise, smash away and after a few minutes i feel great!
