    Ford Ranger 4x4?

    Toyota Tacoma 4x4?

    Mitsubishi Raider?

I'm looking at all three of these to do a suspension lift and around 32'' tires. Will be used for ocassional off-roading and hauling a Dirt Bike to races and Weekend rides. Will be used as a daily Driver. I'm 6'4'' tall.

Raider/Dakota is still underpowered. The best option would be to go with the 4.7 HO if you really wanted to do it.

Tacoma all the way. I have a 2005 Ford Ranger 4x4 xlt, I have never had a problem with the truck and I love it. I wanted the Toyota but could not afford it.

I've got to say buy Amercian on this one. Has always been the place to go for trucks.

    your info is outdated :mamoru:

Tacoma leads midsize trucks, including highest residual/resale and quality..

and performance wise Nissan Titan rules its competition

Ranger for the lose. I have an '01 that I bought new that now has 25,000 miles on it. I've already had to replace the timing chain tensioner (warranty), DPFE sensor twice, front pads and rotors and a ball joint. Now there is a wheel bearing noise that is getting worse. Also, last night the ABS light came on. Today I looked at the new Frontier because this thing is costing me repairs which is ridiculous at just 25,000 miles and I don't want to wait until I lose the transmission or something. I had an '88 Ranger which was resonably reliable but this thing is crap.
