    I have the following

    Nikon D90
    Nikon D300

Nikon 18-105mm VR f/whatever - this stays on the D90 for the most part so the SO can shoot pics w/ me, and im definitely not letting her use the pro glass

    Nikon 50mm f/1.8
    Nikon 10.5mm f/2.8
    Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8

i need something to go between the 10.5 & 70-200 :bigthumb:

    AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED
    vs.
    AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED

or any other ideas from you bastards.

get rid of your 18-105 and use it to fund either a 17-35 f/2.8 or a 24-70 f/2.8. don't waste your time with a 17-55, if you ever go full frame you won't be able to use it (along with your 10.5). macro maybe?

still, i'd plan for the future. the worst thing you could do would be buy a 17-55 and then down the road when nikon introduces cheaper full frame cameras try to sell it and get raped because not many are shooting DX anymore.

but bottom line is that it's your money!

if you sell the d90, the SO will be beat, right? That's no fun.

You don't really have a usable wide angle, the 10.5 is fisheye, so that can't really be used all the time.

    Get the 14-24 2.8.

You have the 50 and the 18-105 if you really *need* a normal length lens... But really, with the 14-24 and the 70-200, You're either a step back or a step forward from the shot.

The normal lengths are over rated.

nah $900 for the body I would rather pay $100 more and buy new locally. I was kinda kidding anyways, you are lucky ur SO shoots/humors ur hobby. I have so many pictures of my woman half a mile ahead of me giving me a middle finger as I fuck around snapping pictures when ever we go places.
